Health and fitness – outside
Warmer temperatures and longer days provide more opportunities to be outside. Clermont county and the surrounding area provide a lot of opportunities to not only enjoy the out of doors but receive health benefits too.
The Nature Center – part of Rowe Woods, the nature center provides hiking trails,ponds, woods and fields. Located in Milford, Ohio the nature centers provides over 16 miles of hiking trails, bird viewing and the Take a Hike for you health challenge.
Clermont County Park District – the county park district operates 5 parks and 2 nature preserves, and a hike/bike trail. Whether you are interested in birds or wildflowers, biking or hiking Clermont county parks have something for everyone.
Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail – begins in Newtown in Hamilton County and continues for 75 miles to Springfield, OH in Clark County passing through Milford, Terrace Park, and Loveland.
East Fork State Park – one of Ohio’s largest state parks, features 416 seasonal camp sites (north side of lake), hiking trails, bridle trails, mountain bike trails, 500 foot swimming beach, fishing, hunting and picnicking.
