Ohio Deaf History Month

Ohio Deaf History Month is celebrated March 13 through April 15 and focuses on the contributions made to society by individuals who suffer hearing loss or who are deaf.

The State Library of Ohio library provides various formats of materials and magazines for and about the deaf community. They also have information and resources from governments, institutions, and organizations affiliated with or provide services associated with Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Deaf Culture. The Ohio Department of Education has a list of resources for students who are deaf and hearing impaired.

The Clermont County Public Library offers access to a Deaf Culture and ASL collection of eBooks through the Ohio Digital Library via Libby.

The library has books, eBooks, and videos to learn ASL.
