Holiday Break Reading Suggestions

Laurie from the Milford-Miami Township Branch:

  • Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. If you haven’t read this classic, maybe it’s time. Or at least read the first part, with the “Christmas won’t be Christmas without any presents” opening.
  • Holiday break is a good time to binge-read books by Barbara Pym.

  • The Gatecrasher by Madeleine Wickham. Great premise – Fleur Daxeny gatecrashes funerals in the hopes of picking up rich and vulnerable men.
  • Shopaholic to the Stars by Sophie Kinsella. Shopping and humor, what’s not to enjoy?
