It’s time to be counted. The U.S. Census 2020 is underway and the data gathered will help direct federal funds for key public services like libraries, roads, schools, and fire departments as well as draw congressional, state legislative, and school district boundaries here in Clermont County. The U.S. Census can shape many different aspects of our state, county, and local communities.

The 2020 census will be the first time residents can provide the required information online.

Every household in the country will receive an invitation between March 12 and March 20 with information about census participation. You can respond online, by phone, or by mail. Mobile devices can be used.

Questions include how many people are living in a home as of April 1, 2020, do you rent or own your home, and information about the people living in your home.

Participating in the U.S. Census is mandated by the U.S. Constitution and is conducted every 10 years. Getting a complete count matters.
