Director’s Note: November and December 2024
As we enter the holiday season and reflect on 2024, we are filled with gratitude for our communities who support the Clermont County Public Library.
Each year, the Library hosts a giving program. This year, we will collect school supplies between November 29 and December 31. These items will be donated to Inter Parish Ministry to be distributed to children in need.
I also would like to thank everyone who participated in our recent survey. We will use your answers to write our new strategic goals and direct the future of the Library.
As we look forward to 2025, there is much to be excited about! The Cozy Winter Read challenge will return January 1. Visit your local branch to sign up and receive a pair of fuzzy socks in a Library mug! Throughout January, read and log 300 minutes and be entered to win a grand prize.
2025 marks the Clermont County Library’s 70th anniversary. To celebrate, we are introducing a community goal called We Love to Read. Our goal is to read and log 12 million minutes as a community in 2025!
I would love for you to make the Library a part of your holiday season. Gather your friends and family and visit your local branch to enjoy in festive programs like decorating gingerbread houses or learning about Cincinnati’s holiday traditions presented by the Cincinnati Museum Center.
I hope you have a joyful holiday season with your loved ones.
