The Library offers a standard card that provides full access to all physical and digital materials. This card is free and available to anyone who lives in Ohio. If you live outside of Ohio, a small fee is necessary.
The Library also offers the Educator Card for teachers who work in Clermont County. The card is designed to help teachers enrich their students’ education by providing access to the Library’s vast collection of physical and digital materials.
The standard library card provides access to all materials, physical, and online for users 3 years old or older. Guests 18 or older can fill out the form linked below to receive a card via email. Guests under 18 years of age need to visit a library branch to sign up for a card with a parent or guardian. For more information, see our Library Card and Borrowing Guidelines.

The 3 for Me library card allows elementary and high school students access to many library materials. No fines will be accessed if items are a bit late being returned. Students may check out up to three items.
The Library wants the children of Clermont County to have access to books. Welcome to the 3 For Me library card! It’s a special card offered to students in elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as homeschooled children throughout the county.
It allows access to a wealth of books, both in print and digital, that can be used to complete homework assignments as well as foster a love of reading. This graph includes the materials available to be checked out using the 3 For Me library card.
The Youth 3 For Me card is for ages 5-11 and the teen 3 For Me card is for ages 12-17.

A 3 For Me library card allows a student to borrow up to 3 books from the library. When the student returns one of the items borrowed, he or she can borrow another one. There is no limit to the number of checkouts using our digital collections.
3 For Me cards are fine free – no fines will be charged if a student is a bit late returning an item. Plus, students don’t have to worry about a card that can’t be used because of unpaid fines or fees.
Students attending school will receive their cards from their homeroom teachers. Students learning at home are asked to pick up their cards in their local branch.
