As fall approaches, I am happy to announce the return of our Hallow-Read Challenge starting October 1. Sign up and receive an adorable boo-bag. Earn badges by logging your minutes and doing fun activities throughout October. Read and log 300 minutes by October 31 and you will be entered into a grand prize drawing.

Mark your calendar! LibrariCon is returning Friday, November 1, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Union Township Branch. Fans of pop culture will not want to miss this!

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month. Sign up for a Library card to unlock the many free resources the Library  offers. As we head back to school, getting a library card is like receiving a free school supply! With your library card, you have free access to helpful databases like

• Explora for Middle Schools
• Explora for Secondary Schools

Use your card to check out one of our STEAM kits that is a great learning opportunity. Let’s work together to make this school year a success!

Don’t forget about other services your local branch has to offer. Most branches offer free notary service, free meeting room reservations, and help with voter registration. Visit us to learn about all the ways the Library can serve you.
