Web Accessibility Policy

The Clermont County Public Library is dedicated to ensuring that everyone can access the full range of information, programs, and services on its website.  Library staff design and maintain the Library’s website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA success criteria*.  While the Library strives to surpass these standards, the Library understands that some guests may still encounter challenges.  The Library’s ongoing commitment to accessibility ensures that all guests can fully benefit from the website’s resources and services.

If a guest encounters an accessibility issue on the Library’s website or has feedback to share, they may contact the Library in one of the following ways:

The Library will respond to emails, calls, and letters within three (3) business days of receipt.

When providing feedback, please include:

  • Name, phone number, and email address
  • A description of the concern
  • The date the issue occurred
  • A suggested solution, if possible

 

*  Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) explains how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. WCAG covers web sites, applications, and other digital content. It is developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). WCAG is an international standard.
