Ms. Doss called the meeting to order at 6 p.m.

Attendees recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
This was a special meeting of the Board of Trustees to discuss the offer of $41,454 made by the Ohio Department of Transportation to purchase land in front of the Union Township Branch Library as part of the 32 Corridor Improvement Project. The land is needed to make improvements along Glen Este-Withamsville Road. The work includes removing existing street lights along Information Place. The Library would like new street lights to be placed on electric poles, owned by Duke Energy, that will be installed as part of the project. The Board discussed countering ODOT’s offer to include money for purchasing new street lights and having them installed while leaving a small amount of cash to cover any unforeseen costs over the provided estimates.
Motion by Ms. Waite, seconded by Mr. Ramos, to make a counter offer of $45,000 to cover any additional costs over the provided estimates for the purchase and installation of two new street lights from Duke Energy. Roll call vote: Ms. Doss, aye; Mr. Cardinal, aye; Ms. Waite, aye; Ms. Kocica, aye; Mr. Ramos, aye. All present were in favor, none opposed. The motion was adopted.
Motion by Mr. Cardinal, seconded by Mr. Ramos, to adjourn the meeting at 6:21 p.m. All were in favor. Motion was adopted.
